Hi, I'm Allie Marie Cruz.
I'm a Texas-born author, creative, and firm believer that your twenties are meant for making memories, taking chances, and collecting a few good stories along the way.
I write about messy relationships, big dreams, questionable decisions, and the kind of nights you'll either remember forever or wish you could forget.

Where it all began
THE EARLY YEARS
BEFORE THE BOOKS, THERE WAS THE MUSIC.
Long before I ever dreamed of writing about Hollywood, I was growing up in a house where music was practically another member of the family.
My dad was a DJ, which meant my childhood came with a soundtrack. From Fall Out Boy and Santana to Kanye West and everything in between, there wasn't a genre I wasn't introduced to.
Mornings often started with music videos on television, and somewhere between TRL, 106 & Park, and whatever song was playing next, I fell completely in love with entertainment.
My mom helped shape that love in her own way, introducing me to the magic of storytelling through film, books, and the characters who stayed with me long after the credits rolled and past the final page.
Looking back, I think the worlds I create today are simply an extension of the one I grew up in: loud, colorful, emotional, and always accompanied by a really good soundtrack.

Before becoming an author, I found another way to turn my creativity into a career: marketing.
From photography and videography to digital design and brand storytelling, I've always loved finding new ways to bring ideas to life. And somewhere along the way, I realized I could use those same creative instincts to build fictional worlds of my own.
Now, I get to combine everything I love: writing, music, film, and a little bit of my own fixations!

AND THEN CAME HOLLYWOOD.
Shooting Stars Over Hollywood Skies is my debut novel, born from a lifelong fascination with music, fame, ambition, and the complicated people behind the spotlight.
What started as an idea eventually became a world filled with larger-than-life personalities, questionable decisions, complicated relationships, and characters who are still figuring out who they want to become.
At its heart, it's a story about chasing everything you've ever wanted and discovering what you're willing to sacrifice to get there.
And for me, it's only the beginning.
